WOW is all we can say about the incredible turnout for the inaugural ‘Sounds of Summer’!
Our first festival now behind us we would like to thank everyone who supported the event. Patrons, sponsors, stall holders, volunteers and of course our family and friends.
The past couple of weeks have been a time of reflection and debriefing. We will be honest, the first year was tough. Building an event from scratch is not easy. We are forever grateful to all festival goers for giving us a chance!
In true Gippsland style we had the rain during set up, extreme heat and gusts of wind in the afternoon but come sun down we could not have asked for anything better – what an amazing summers night it was.
Thank you for all the wonderful feedback! With an inaugural event we realise there will be a little ‘tweaking’ to make sure the 2017 festival will run even more smoothly.
On the whole it was an extremely successful day. Thank you to Inverloch & District Community Bank®, our major supporter and to all businesses who supported Sounds of Summer. The festival was a great community event, with local clubs and businesses contributing to its success.
It is so exciting to have the gallery up on our website. A big thank you to the wonderful Shelley Price and Leo Edwards who captured the day perfectly. There were so many fantastic shots and we couldn’t upload them all so keep an eye out on social media for some more fun snaps.
Leo is currently working on the video clip which will be released in the coming days.
Planning for Sounds of Summer 2017 is underway, all updates and information will be posted on our social media and website.
Thank you and see you in December 2017!
