+ WHERE AND WHEN DOES SOUNDS OF SUMMER TAKE PLACE?

It takes place on Saturday 16th April 2022 (Easter Saturday). Held at the stunning Sound Shell / Glade Inverloch

+ CAN I PARK THERE?

There'll be standard parking in the surrounding town. There isn't any event-specific parking.

+ CAN I BRING THE KIDS?

Of course you can! We have discounted 'youth' tickets (11-17 years of age) and 'kids' tickets (0-10) available. Just remember that all young people (17 and under) must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent/legal guardian to enter the show.

+ IS THERE A DROP OFF/PICK UP AREA?

Yes! We do not support drink driving. If you are driving to the show and plan on drinking, there will be a dedicated Drop Off / Pick Up Zone.

+ HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

Presale Adult - $59 + Booking Fee

First Release Adult - $64 + Booking Fee

Final Release Adult - $69 + Booking Fee

Youth Pass (11- 17 years old) - $30 + Booking Fee

Kids Pass (0-10) $5 + Booking Fee

+ IS THERE A LIMIT TO HOW MANY TICKETS I CAN BUY?

You can buy a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction. Please keep in mind that all tickets must match the name of the attendee.

+ DOES MY NAME NEED TO BE ON THE TICKET?

Yes! This is a security feature to protect you from fraudulent tickets or scalping. If your name is not on the ticket, please see the next question.

+ I'VE GOT A TICKET BUT MY NAME ISN'T ON IT

You’ll need to complete a name change through Moshtix. Click here and follow the easy steps.

+ HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO BUY TICKETS?

You can purchase tickets as long as you have a Moshtix account and valid credit card. All tickets holders 17 and under must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent/legal guardian.

+ CAN I BUY A TICKET FOR SOMEONE ELSE?

Yes, however orders cannot be split up. If you purchase for someone else with multiple tickets in one order, you will have to have the ticket holders name and email address ready when purchasing. All tickets require the person’s name to be on it.

+ DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Not currently. Apologies.

+ WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

All ticket purchases are final sales, no refunds or exchanges. The festival takes place rain or shine. If due to covid-related restrictions the event is unable to go ahead on the date planned, the event will be rescheduled for another date later in the year and all tickets will remain valid. In such a covid-related event, people who are unable to attend the new date and require a refund for that reason will be able to do so.

+ I NEED TO CHANGE THE NAME ON MY TICKET?

We get it, sometimes plans change. In order to complete a name change, you will need to login to your Moshtix account and choose the ‘name change’ option. Ticket Reissues do incur a cost. Make sure you have the name & email of the person who will be receiving the new ticket. Tickets can be reissued a max of twice.

+ CAN I BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE MAIN ENTERTAINMENT AREA?

No. Both alcohol and soft drinks are not permitted. The event area is licensed with bars for you to pick up what you need. There will also be be bars for those that are alcohol free.

+ CAN I BRING IN CHAIRS, PICNIC BLANKETS OR RUGS?

Yes. There will also be plenty of areas to sit, stand or seek shade if needed.

+ CAN I BRING FOOD & DRINKS?

Empty reusable water bottles are permitted. There will be refillable water stations. You can bring food (if contained in a small backpack) but there'll be lots of delcious food trucks and drink options so there's no need to bring heaps of stuff.

+ PROHIBITED ITEMS

Apart from the obvious illegal things, you CANNOT bring:

  • Alcohol
  • Glass of any kind (Bottles, Jars etc)
  • Gas Bottles, BBQs or cooking devices of any kind
  • Triangas, nitros bulbs etc
  • Pets
  • Generators
  • Fireworks or Flares
  • Tents & Umbrellas
  • Fire Sticks & Poy
  • Lasers, Drones
  • No weapons
  • No illicit substances

+ IS THERE A CLOAK ROOM?

There is no cloak room available outside of the gates. Any items refused entry will need to be placed in your vehicle or left at the gate with a staff member. Inside the gates you will also have the option to cloak smaller items like jackets or small backpacks.

+ DO I HAVE TO WEAR MY WRISTBAND THE ENTIRE TIME?

Yes, your wristband is your festival pass. If you are caught without a wristband, you will be removed from the festival. If you are caught without ever having a ticket, you will be escorted off of the property and may face a trespassing fine.

+ WHAT IS YOUR RE-ENTRY POLICY?

For safety reasons, once you’ve entered the festival gates, no passout’s are available.

+ WILL YOU BE NEEDING EVENT VOLUNTEERS?

Yes! Volunteering is a great way to experience the festival. Applications are now open - APPLY HERE.

+ WILL THERE BE VEGETARIAN, VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE FOOD OPTIONS?

Yes! Our delicious food trucks serve food for most dietary specifications.

+ WILL THERE BE ATM'S ONSITE?

No, we advise that you bring along cash and your paywave debit/credit card. There are ATMS located in the town approixmately 50-100 meteres away.

+ WHAT PRECAUTIONS DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE DUE TO COVID-19?

Sounds of Summer will operate as a COVID-safe event and operate with the Victorian Government guidelines that are in-place at the time.

Operationally this will include a dedicated COVID-safe officer on-site, contact tracing processes (such as attendee QR code registration or similar), increased hand sanitiser stations throughout the event, social distancing measures in-place, regular sanitisation and cleaning of event facilities, regular health-reminder messaging and more.

If due to covid-related restrictions the event is unable to go ahead as planned, the event will be rescheduled for another date later in the year and all tickets will remain valid. In such an event, people requiring a refund will be able to do so.

 

ACCESSIBILITY/MEDICAL

 

+ DO YOU HAVE A CARER / COMPANION CARD POLICY?

Yes we do. Please get in contact with Moshtix Customer Service (our ticketing provider) at https://tixsupport.moshtix.com.au/hc/en-us, and they'll be able to assist you. Send them through the companion card and the name of the person you're attending with and they'll be more than happy to help you out!

+ CAN I GET SOME INFORMATION ON ACCESSIBILITY?

The Sound Shell / The Glade is a flat and fully accessible site. A reserved wheelchair viewing area is located in front of the stage. Additionally, the festival provides accessible toilets and water stations. Should you require more information about our accessibility services, please contact us directly.

+ WHAT'S THE SITE LIKE FOR GETTING AROUND?

The site is nice and relatively flat and is suitable for all ages.

+ IS THERE PARKING CLOSE TO THE SITE ENTRANCE FOR PEOPLE WITH ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS?

There are a range of accessible parking spaces located within nearby. Please contact our team at least 7 days prior to the festival and we'll assist with further information.
