Inverloch Sounds Of Summer is a family friendly music food and wine festival. A chance to relax and enjoy the 'sounds' of local and national musicians and the 'tastes' of festival fare and local wine at Thompson Reserve in Inverloch.
The event showcases the natural beauty, creative talents and unique character of the Bass Coast and broader Gippsland region. The festival has been thoughtfully curated to attract families and to relish the cultural delights at our doorstep.
Local Events Management Company, Events by Kate, is the creator of Sounds of Summer, specialising in the creative direction and management of corporate events, weddings and bespoke event solutions. Events by Kate has run many successful events across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
This event brings local businesses together as well as involving local community groups and service clubs assisting in their fundraising efforts. Sounds of Summer was born to bring an overall experience of our beautiful coastline for all to enjoy!
Festival Charity Inverloch Sounds of Summer will support Dementia Australia as the festival’s charity for 2018 pledging a gold coin donation from every ticket sold.
Dementia describes a collection of symptoms that are caused by disorders affecting the brain. It is not one specific disease. Dementia affects thinking, behaviour and the ability to perform everyday tasks. Brain function is affected enough to interfere with the person’s normal social or working life. Read more HERE.
This charity has been chosen in memory of the late Billy Walsh, a loving wife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her whole life to her family.

We love that our festival is family friendly! Our little and teen festival tribe will be entertained with face painting, laser tag and various game activations.

PARKING + SHUTTLE BUS
Sound of Summer is providing a complimentary shuttle bus within Inverloch. There will be two pick and drop off points.
- Inverloch Recreation Reserve, Sandymount Ave (You are welcome to drive and park cars here) - V/Line Stop, The Esplanade The first pick up will be 1:15pm from Inverloch Recreation Reserve and will continue every half hour throughout the day until the close of the festival at 10:00pm.
BUS - COWES to INVERLOCH Bus Services from Cowes to Inverloch with South Coast Buslines stopping at all V/Line Stops. $25 pp, bookings essential. Please phone 5952 2500 to secure and pay for your seat!

PARKING Where possible we encourage visitors and residents of Inverloch to walk to the venue.
For ticket holders outside the area there is limited off street parking. Please be mindful of residing residents around the reserve and make sure you park legally to avoid any fines from enforcing officers.
